Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Jaunty, LLC ("Jaunty," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit jaunty.org, use any Jaunty service, or interact with us (collectively, the "Service"). It also describes the rights you have over your personal information.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Jaunty Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information in three ways: information you give us, information we collect automatically when you use the Service, and information we receive from third parties.
Information you give us
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, password, and any profile information you provide.
- Payment information — billing address and payment details. Card numbers and bank details are submitted directly to our payment processors and are not stored on Jaunty's servers.
- Booking and intake information — answers you provide in scheduling forms, intake questionnaires, and quizzes.
- Communications — emails, support messages, and other correspondence you send us.
- Content you submit — questions, comments, posts in community spaces, written exercises, and any other content you provide through the Service.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and dates and times of access.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5.
Information from third parties
- Payment processors — confirmation that a charge has succeeded, and limited card metadata (such as the last four digits and expiration date).
- Advertising and analytics partners — information about how you found and interacted with our advertisements and pages.
- Scheduling and form tools — information you submit through Calendly bookings or Typeform forms.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- process subscriptions, one-time purchases, and refunds;
- schedule and deliver coaching sessions and classes;
- send transactional communications (receipts, reminders, account notices, renewal reminders);
- send marketing communications, where you have not opted out;
- respond to support requests and other inquiries;
- improve the Service, develop new features, and conduct internal analytics;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; and
- comply with applicable law.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We do, however, share personal information in the following ways:
- With service providers that operate parts of the Service on our behalf — for example, payment processors, hosting, email delivery, scheduling, forms, video conferencing, and analytics. Section 7 lists the main categories.
- With advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising — see Section 5 below. Under California law, this kind of disclosure is treated as "sharing." You may opt out of this sharing as described in Section 9.
- As required by law — to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal obligation, or to respond to a government request.
- To protect rights and safety — when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of our members, coaches, staff, or the public.
- In connection with a business transaction — such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case the recipient will be subject to obligations consistent with this Policy.
We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent.
4. Recording of sessions
Jaunty may from time to time record live classes, group sessions, or 1:1 coaching sessions for coaching, training, quality, or operational purposes. Where Jaunty records a session, this will be disclosed in advance, and the recording will be stored, accessed, and retained in accordance with this Policy.
You may not record, screenshot, screen-share, or otherwise capture another participant without express consent.
For approved minor participants under our Minor Safety Policy, the parent or legal guardian may request that recording of the minor be disabled.
5. Cookies, tracking technologies, and advertising
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service, to remember your preferences, to analyze how the Service is used, and to deliver and measure advertising.
We use Google Ads (including its remarketing pixel) and similar advertising technologies to serve and measure ads, and to retarget visitors who have shown interest in Jaunty across other sites and platforms. Under California law, certain of these activities are treated as "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt out of this sharing at any time by emailing connect@jaunty.org with the subject line "Do Not Share My Information."
You can also control cookies through your browser settings and through the opt-out tools provided by individual advertising platforms. Disabling cookies may affect how the Service works.
We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We do honor recognized opt-out signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where required by applicable law.
6. Email and SMS communications
We send transactional communications (such as receipts, account notices, and renewal reminders) to all members. We send marketing communications only to people who have not opted out.
You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by emailing connect@jaunty.org. Transactional communications related to your account or your subscription will continue even after you opt out of marketing.
7. Service providers
We use the following categories of service providers, each of which has its own privacy policy.
- Email marketing and automation — Klaviyo (privacy policy) and ActiveCampaign (privacy policy).
- Payments — Stripe (privacy policy), Clover (privacy policy), and PayPal (privacy policy).

If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in Section 8 above and the following additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("California Privacy Law").
Categories of personal information we collect
In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from or about California residents:
- identifiers (name, email, phone number, IP address);
- customer records (account, billing, and contact information);
- commercial information (purchase history, subscriptions);
- internet or other electronic network activity (browser, device, page-view data);
- audio or visual information (where session recording occurs);

We collect this information directly from you, automatically when you use the Service, and from the third parties listed in Section 7.
Business purposes
We use this information for the purposes described in Section 2.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We do "share" certain identifiers and internet activity information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described in Section 5. You may opt out of this sharing by emailing connect@jaunty.org with the subject line "Do Not Share My Information," or by enabling Global Privacy Control in a supported browser.
Sensitive personal information
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that, under California Privacy Law, would give you a right to limit such use or disclosure.
Your California rights
In addition to the rights in Section 8, California residents have the right to:
- know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
- limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, where applicable;
- not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email connect@jaunty.org. You may also have an authorized agent submit a request on your behalf, in which case we may verify the agent's authority before responding. A parent or legal guardian may submit a request on behalf of a minor child consistent with applicable law.
10. Minors
The Service is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly enroll minors in our open group programs.
In limited cases, a parent or legal guardian may request private 1:1 coaching for a minor under the conditions in our Minor Safety Policy. For an approved minor participant, the only information linked to the minor in Jaunty's systems is the minor's first name and the parent or legal guardian's contact information.
We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at connect@jaunty.org and we will delete the information in accordance with applicable law.
11. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need information, we delete it or anonymize it. Specific retention periods depend on the type of information, our legal obligations, and our legitimate operational needs.
You may request deletion of your information at any time as described in Section 8.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. International users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Service or by email.
