Great hands-on course on how to improve social interactions. First we undid typical mistakes such as fidgeting or speaking at low voice. We then learned skills to improve our interactions. All the skills are applicable in business, daily and dating life. The emphasis was on approaching people. Overall the course was helpful and worth it.

I stumbled on my Jaunty notebook yesterday and started thinking about how much of a turning point your class was for me. Now I feel comfortable talking to anyone and can build rapport and connection really fast. I discovered that I like people so much that I am actually transitioning my career to recruiting! Anyhoo I just wanted to tell you that you made a big impact on my life and to thank you for that!

Jaunty is very passionate about what they are doing and are actual experts in the field. Would highly recommend to anyone who is trying to learn how to push oneself outside of their personal borders

I gained a wealth of useful knowledge to help me in social situations. The skills I learned improved my ability to interact with ANY one, whether my intentions were for business networking, pursuing a romantic interest, or just making a new friend. My self-confidence was invigorated and I no longer despaired that I would be awkward or uninvolved in social settings. I enjoy meeting new people a lot more now

Even if you feel you know everything about social interaction....there's much more to learn. There is NO BETTER place and NO BETTER instructors to learn new and sharpen those existing social skills. Jaunty creates a fun, non-threatening atmosphere in which to improve your skills. I highly recommend it!

“Honestly, I was skeptical at first, but the live role-play sessions completely changed my perspective. Now, I approach conversations with confidence and recently had a 2-hour chat with someone I met spontaneously. Never thought I’d see this happen!”

Graphic Designer

“Before Jaunty, I could barely say hi without overthinking. After just a few sessions, I found myself effortlessly starting conversations and even landed a date within the first week. Truly life-changing!”

Jaunty provides extremely effective tools and support for building assertiveness, becoming comfortable in your own skin, building community, and achieving a leadership mindset. Thanks to the Jaunty Gym and the Masterclass, I feel extraordinarily more fluid in conversation with others, I feel substantially more connected to neighbors and colleagues, and I feel more comfortable communicating my wants and needs.

This was an interactive Yelp Virtual event. Eric Waisman from Jaunty had us in breakout rooms when social exercises was given. I got to meet two other Yelper's and had lots of fun.

What Jaunty has done is provide a place where people can safely practice their conversational skills without the fear of rejection. Since I started a couple weeks ago, when going out, I've talked to strangers, especially girls, I would usually shell up around, and even got a phone number. At a bonfire, I was able to start the conversation and keep it going among a group of people in which I only knew the host. And with people I already know, I've been able to keep the conversation going whereas before Jaunty I would run out of things to say and sometimes cut the conversation short...This is life-changing...

I feel like I’m getting back to my original, authentic self. I’m more confident and realize if I give in to social anxiety, I’m only holding myself back. I feel like I’m starting to create the community I want. And thanks to Jaunty, I now know I can strike up a conversation with anyone and make friends everywhere I go.

With the help of Jaunty, I blazed down my new path of social freedom. I went from stiff, guarded, introvert to a smiling, confident, woman of the world in six weeks! Now, I feel amazing and self-assured that I can approach anyone and talk to anyone. In fact, I’m off now to make dinner for new friends. We’re having enchiladas, tonight. Sounds good, right?

I think really everyone can benefit from Jaunty. Not only does it help with social skills, but I think it can really help with finding who you are. When I got out there and started exploring the social side of me, I learned all this stuff about me that I didn’t know before.

The material is very well taught and the instructors are amazing. I highly recommend jaunty for gaining advanced social skills and intelligence of any context be it professional, romantic, or just straight up social. I'm a Stanford student and found it as rigorous, well taught, and beneficial as my social psychology and improv acting classes I've attended at Stanford prior.

This class has taught me various life skills. I have been able to use some in my day to day life and they have been very useful. I would definitely recommend taking a class at Jaunty's.

What I found most helpful: high status humor, weaving (small talk structures), assertiveness skills, and cognitive reframing of rejection...This is one of the most fun and useful classes I've taken.

...Jaunty talked to us about different social skill sets, and advised us to focus on awareness, like being aware of how social anxiety affects us so we can face it...we did activities to practice different skills, including having open body language, conversational agility, and asserting ourselves to practice saying no.

After overcoming some initial cultural reluctance, I decided to sign up. And can I tell you something? It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I started to gain back confidence and assertiveness with the first crazy homework...after the exercise came the theory in class around frames (my frame/reality versus other’s people’s frame). It all made so much sense!

Alexandre De Carvalho

We touched on a little of everything in the way we communicate with our body language, assertiveness, and our beliefs. My ultimate favorite in this course was putting our new skills to practice and approaching strangers!

A few months after completing the six-week course, I’m definitely more confident. I introduce myself to strangers, give compliments, ask questions, have strong eye contact, and hold down conversations with ease.

“Before I felt bad about saying no to people,” says Jaunty graduate Sinan Mouline. “Now I feel more comfortable doing it. Also I can ask for what I want. If the other person can do it, great. If not, okay.”

Software Engineer at Acsentis

I don't know about anyone else, but I often find myself lacking in social graces so to speak. I've been left speechless, or worse perhaps, saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. I can also be a people pleaser, so needless to say, a class on social skills is right up my alley.

I learned formulas for how to attract people through magnetic conversations and behavior. I learned about conversational agility, humor structures, and other really useful social intelligence techniques.

RN at HCA Healthcare

I think just about anyone would benefit from Jaunty...One of the benefits I experienced in the class is slowing down. Don’t answer too fast, give that two second thought before you respond to someone. That’s something I want to keep working on, slowing down and being more present.

Regulatory Affairs at Dynarex

I feel like my personal anxiety has definitely gone down a lot since Jaunty. It’s kind of amazing how it happened. For me the goal was to talk to a few people at a party. Not to be the life of the party because I’m not that person. The thing with Jaunty is it’s pretty simple. Your mindset grows along with the skills. You really do become a person who everyone wants to talk to.

IT Consultant in San Francisco

Each session felt empowering, as Eric coached me on conversational agility, body language, and touch. Immediately, I was able to connect with people on a social level. Complete strangers from coffee shops and bookstores invited me to their parties and social events. The social dynamic of my existing relationships expanded too. I felt like a member of a community again...

Adrian Robinson

Policy and Research Assistant at Criminal Court Justice

Jaunty has been incredible, it gave me skills to lead a conversation, to guide the entire feeling of a conversation to where I’d like it to go. It’s helped me slow down my life. I’m way quicker on my feet with jokes. We all have opportunities. Now I feel like I’m getting better and picking the best ones.

Account Executive

Eric was leading us through Five Skill Sets. We learned about Body Language, Conversational Agility, and Assertiveness (which tests relationships while empowering). We had so much fun that we ran out of time and didn't get to Humor and Approaching Others.

Sometimes you just have to break somebody’s robotic routine and give them a special experience that’s become rarer in the digital age: a conversation with a stranger.

Business Analyst at Everlaw

I gained skills that have given me external success. However, I believe Jaunty's true power lies in the internal shift created. What blows me away on a daily basis is that the more I practice the suggested behaviors, the greater my own self-image becomes.

It’s not often that people make the time or effort to invest in themselves. Jaunty can really impact your personal interactions, confidence level, and how you present yourself to the world. I’ve had so many more meaningful connections by learning how to slow down and really listen.

Business Advisor at ASHMI

If you need help developing great social skills than this is the class for you. The class was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.

Day Porter, GDI Integrated Facility Services

The material is great and Eric an excellent instructor. I like his style, technique and his delivery. What he teaches I find is right on, super informative and applicable to anything from how to make real progress at work to your social life, dating, meeting people and having great friendships.

The six-week course was valuable. The treasure of Jaunty is that you leave each class with the courage, knowledge, and drive to begin to change. I would begin the homework with just enough gallantry to make one small change, then another.

Operations Engineer At ClickTime

Jaunty is the "gym for social skills" and I can see why. We "only" got to go through 3 of the 7 Skillsets, but the information was invaluable! The exercises we did in separate chat rooms were eye opening and meaningful.

“I think no matter where someone is on the social anxiety or shyness scale, they’d get a lot of benefit with Jaunty, whether it’s the six-week course or a one-on-one,” Paula says. “I was amazed by what a huge change it’s made.”

Senior Manager at Ernst & Young

By then I had finished the Jaunty course and was completely at ease meeting new groups of people, and making them feel at ease without a single beer.

Senior Sound Designer at Team Audio

It is beyond awesome, and a lot of fun! The learning environment is carefully setup to incrementally challenge your own growth, no matter where you're at socially.

Each week builds upon the lessons from earlier weeks, guiding participants to develop and practice the skills necessary to approach and communicate with anyone at any time. The material is primarily focused on creating and developing personal relationships but still practical for professional environments as well.

This was a great class! My favorite part was getting to do the breakout rooms. I always struggled with figuring out how to keep a conversation going, especially with a stranger, but through threading we had to keep transitioning stories by using the phrase "Speaking of" which was both a great way to be creative and to make sure you're listening to the person speaking.

Jaunty gave me the formula for how to communicate with others,” Sunny says. “Now whatever social situation I’m in, I know I’m going to be generally successful using this formula.”

Senior Director of Sales at Flexport

I have been looking for ways to improve my social anxiety. ‍Looked at classes online, voice coaches, and tons of research on toastmasters. I finally found Jaunty!!! I have to say that this is the REAL DEAL. ‍If you can at all close your eyes and try to imagine what your ideal self would look like, and if you could give yourself advice on how to be that person, the first advice you would give yourself would be to sign up for this class.

It's a really great experience if you have any social anxiety or if you want to learn to talk with people more. Everyone can learn from it.

Office Manager at a Law Firm

I now have many tools at my disposal to reach out and get what I want socially. And to feel fully aware and in control, is an amazing gift that I'm very thankful for. I tell others now that I'm an eye contact Jedi Knight from all of the 5 minute eye stare exercises!

What I learned had an immediate impact on my social life. I found ways to make ordinary interactions more fun and engaging. It was easier to approach and meet new people and to keep a conversation going. I also learned to be more assertive.

Jaunty has given me the blueprint to build a connection with anyone, anywhere, and that's priceless.

I've always been shy when it comes to approaching someone. Keeping the conversation flowing has also been an issue....and then the awkward silences. Eric Waisman shared skills and knowledge to us Yelpers yesterday. Founder of Jaunty, he helps build up social skills.

"I can lead a conversation. I don't care who I'm talking with now. I'm responsible for my own feelings and words and other people are responsible for theirs. Jaunty has helped me in my professional career, besides going out and being social."

CPPS at UCSF Medical Center

I think almost anyone would benefit from Jaunty. Particularly, I look at the people I work with, the software engineers. I think everyone should go to Burning Man once, and take Jaunty classes.

Software Architect at Dragonfruit AI

Jaunty teaches you confidence but it also teaches you to love yourself...This could easily be a class for public speaking and leadership. It’s a class to help you live the life you want to lead.

I appreciated the way Jaunty teaches social skills by putting it all in different steps. It's very structured. You know why you are doing something in the interaction, then you do it better; you improve.

Software Engineer at Facebook

It's been great romantically, but I love that these skills also translate to communicating with anyone.I wish I'd found Jaunty sooner! You're providing a great service and I am genuinely impressed with how high quality the content is.

Senior Software Engineer

Surprisingly, I learned something new everyday by talking to people. The human connection that we are missing in the world should not only be resolved by machine or social media. Let's talk to each other and connect again! I'm so happy to talk to a new person everyday after Jaunty.

Eric led an entertaining and helpful hour of advice for overcoming your social fears. I appreciated all the tips for beginning, continuing and ending a conversation. I also learned how to adjust your body posture so that you feel and look more open to talking.

Anyone who wants to meet new people, make friends and have more meaningful conversation with existing friends would benefit greatly from the Jaunty course.

Consultant, JBS USA

One of the most helpful and exciting things about being in the classes was having the structure and assignments to interact with strangers. I didn’t realize how much I was missing out on in terms of the connection and joy that you can get from just saying hi to someone you’re sitting next to on the subway.

Elizabeth Cooper

Meditation Teacher at Journey Meditation

There's nothing more powerful and inspiring than being surrounded by amazing people who are all in the same boat as you are. The inspiration and support from my classmates truly inspired me to trust the methods taught by Jaunty, to push myself to apply the things that I learned, and to ultimately hold myself accountable for my own personal growth.

I think that many people think that either you're a social person or you're not. You label yourself as an introvert or an extrovert..Many, many people including myself struggled with anxiety. What better way to kill anxiety than to build up one's confidence? What better way to build up confidence in communicating than to learn the skills to improve communication?

A great way to connect with others by learning new conversational and communication tools!

This experience and the skills I learned are priceless. If you are looking to have abundant, meaningful connections with more people, this is the class for you. It will teach you skills that will help with your personal and professional life.

Take Jaunty’s class people. It’ll make you a social superstar and vastly improve your life! Thanks Eric. The Jaunty class has vastly improved my life in every way and was worth every penny. It’s been paying non-stop dividends since.

This was by far the most mentally, emotionally, and socially engaging virtual Yelp event I've attended so far this year.

Jaunty is awesome! I took the class when I was in the transition of my life 6 years ago. The social freedom, friendship, and self awareness I gained in the class, it directly helped me get a job, find my self-confidence, and I am not afraid to talk to strangers anymore. Humbly speaking, the class to me is life changing. I am thrilled to say I met many amazing human beings in the class as well. 😊

Biologist at Virovek, Inc

The compounding effects of such small social changes was really impressive for me. I was even able to on-ramp a few people and then when they asked me what I've been up to - explain the jaunty course, and even explain the tools I'd just used to communicate with them. A few people were so fascinated they asked me for the jaunty website.

President at Whitestone DCI

Jaunty was my tribe of people who accepted me for who I am. I always had a plethora of friends who I felt safe with but this was a whole community where I felt so accepted and challenged to become a better version of myself.

Senior Program Manager at UCSF

I studied one-on-one with Eric and it was extremely helpful! His hands-on work with eye-contact, conversational agility, and humor is unparalleled. He was friendly and gently corrected and challenged social misconceptions I've held for years.

Senior iOS Developer at Intuit

I wanted to get past the small talk in conversations and be able to build deeper connections. Other people in my class wanted to get more clients at a business meeting, and other people want to talk with a potential date, we all succeeded!
